First individuation of essence (Sufism)

Description

This pure unity , pure receptivity, englobes all receptivities - whether of deprivation or of attribution of all attributes; the first unity of ontological priority and pre-eternity, the second of ontological posteriority, eternity. In the latter case, the appearance of Being is clothed in the names and attributes of divinity and sovereignty, but this does not entail multiplicity of existence.

Context

The seventeenth illumination of Jami.
