Final situation (ICA)

Description

This is the awareness that each situation is of such significance that it could be lived as if it were the last moment of life. It occurs when one realizes that nothing can be treated as anything less than the most important moment of one's life, as when being saved from a fatal accident or like an opening night on Broadway.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's deed (the life of doing) the fourth formal aspect is becoming the symbol of the eternal context. At the first phenomenological level this occurs when one is confronted by the fact that to live is to be of service.
