Description

The characteristic aspect of consciousness which is not knowledge or will, but which is a differentiated feeling or emotion, is referred to as affection.

In esoteric or psychic terms, emotion is severally described as: (1) a physically and mentally experienced, concentrated energy consciousness causing physical response in the body (flushing, sweating, etc), often in reaction to external stimulus; (2) a manifestation of the vital life force in every living thing; (3) rapidly changing moods and attitudes arising without conscious intention having their basis in cosmic consciousness.
