Eternal moment (ICA)

Description

This is experienced at those times when a person encounters the fact that his action will produce permanent change in history, that every decision is filled with significance, that the present moment is filled with implications about the future and with meaning for all of history. It is like the first time that a few scientists were able to sustain nuclear fission in a primitive reactor.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's deed (the life of doing) the second formal aspect is extending one's engagement to history. At the fourth phenomenological level this occurs when the unique greatness of one's expenditure is embodied.
