Eternal identification (ICA)

Description

This is the realization that one is responsible for, and at one with, the past and with the future, that all lives are both an extension of and a prelude to the present. It occurs when an individual becomes one with the peoples of all times who have trodden the path he has chosen.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's engagement (the life of obedience) the fourth formal aspect is embodying service to people's spirit life. At the third phenomenological level, this occurs when people willingly embrace their responsibility to society.
