Corporate duty (ICA)

Description

This is experienced when a person realizes that he has a duty to the community to see that justice is realized, when a personal complaint becomes a social contradiction within the community. It is like Dietrich Bonhoeffer deciding that his duty to German society was to organize an underground seminary during Hitler's rule.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's engagement (the life of obedience) the second formal aspect is embodying equity as the disestablishment to call forth human justice. At the second phenomenological level, this occurs when one recognizes one's obligation to the rest of mankind.
