Description

This state is unification in the final jhana of the fourfold and the fivefold reckoning. It is one of the kinds of access concentration.

Context

According to Hinayana Buddhism, concentration is considered as of one kind (monad), of two kinds (dyads), of three kinds (triads), of four kinds (tetrads) or of five kinds (pentad). In the third triad, this is the third concentration.
