Committed teacher (ICA)

Description

This is being fanatical about calling other people to awareness; it occurs when someone is passionately concerned that others should know the profundity of their lives. It may be compared to Eleanor Roosevelt's participation in drafting the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights - a passionate engagement that demanded that others participate.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of being the presence of transcendence (the life of chastity) the first formal aspect is radical identification with images of profound living, in which a person interiorizes the qualities of spiritual role models. At the second phenomenological level this occurs when one's life is consecrated to a cause in such a way that one's every action manifests one's intent.
