Description

Having abandoned distraction through recognizing it, the meditator in the state does not lose the object of meditation at all. The power of mindfulness associated with this and with the previous stage has matured.

Context

This is the fourth of the nine states of mental abiding (navakara chittasthiti) in Gelugpa Tibetan Buddhism.
