Ceto vimutti (Buddhism)

Samadhi or concentration is developed to the culminating point on the path to Nirvana. It is associated with full knowledge and releases the mind from defilements, yielding the fruits of Arhatship. The highest and finest state of samadhi, or phala-samadhi, this is concentration conducive to the fruit of Arhatship. The term can also be used generally to denote the different stages of samadhi, but always refers to an advanced state.
