Description
Identifying with existence in the material world, the individual is not liberated but after death clings to the womb, resulting in this state of becoming which leads to another birth as a sentient being.
Context
The tenth of 12 links – nidana – perpetuating the cycle of birth and death as delineated in the Buddhist causally continuous doctrine of being.
