Avarice

In this state, the individual is not so much afflicted by greed for money as with love of money, with obsessive planning for an imagined future which does not yet exist and which may never exist, with hopes and fears instead of faith. This may be manifest in hoarding (of money or anything else) instead of leaving the future to God.
