Al-Mu'id (Sufism)
Description
The believer is aware of Allah as the restorer of all things, recreating all things to their previous form, so that at the end of all things only Allah exists, as it was in the beginning. At the same time, all that has existed is recorded within the eternally existent and alive. At the day of judgement the good will be rewarded, the bad punished, all creatures will be recreated perfect and their souls returned to them.
Context
A mode of mystical awareness in the Sufi tradition associated with the fifty-ninth of the ninety-nine names of Allah.
