Al-Muhyi (Sufism)

The believer is aware of Allah as the giver of life. He has created life and death. He gave us our lives as a gift, lent to us, and we choose what we shall do with that gift, whether to believe or not, whether to obey or not. After death we shall be brought back to life whether to qualify for heaven or for hell. Here and now we should work with thanks to serve His creatures as though we were never to die, yet be continually aware of our own mortality and work towards salvation.
