Al-Baqi (Sufism)

The believer is aware of Allah as everlasting, having no beginning or end. One is here for only a short time, although selfless working for the sake of Allah and not for immediate profit will mean one's work will carry on for eternity. If the intention in doing is for service and not for gain, one will earn eternity hereafter.
