A visionary can write books, create films, build models of the future and use the spoken word to communicate his vision. He eliminates choices about how people live now in order to effect the future. He may demonstrate an exemplary life style that points to how the future may look, and give people a sense of being creators and participants in the future. A visionary can be anywhere in the world, but particularly helpful where rapid change is affecting society. He gives people hope for the future. Most visionaries project positive images of the future; those who project negative images reveal to us that we must make a choice about how we live now in order to influence the future.
