An old photo of a barman with a rumpled suit and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, before he became a Stalinist dictator of Albania, was retouched when he was (cigarette eliminated) so as to reveal the wisdom and inner strength he always possessed. A photo of Mao, before he became China's most feared communist party dictator, was also falsified similar reasons.
