Protecting endangered forests

The implementation of the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Forests (IPF) are important for the objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity by supporting the development of a legally binding instrument on forests, aiming among other things to integrate biodiversity conservation objectives with sustainable management of forests at national, regional and global levels.
