Propagating commercial plants

In 1992, and on request of the Government of Brunei Darussalam, the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Cooperation (CFTC)'s Industrial Development Department provided technical help for the application of tissue culture techniques for mass-scale propagation of plants of high commercial value. This involved training personnel at an agricultural research station in medium preparation, sterilization, inoculation and maintenance of cultures under controlled conditions.
