Promoting South-South cooperation

Description

Development experiences of developing countries are valuable resources for designing development strategies. South-South cooperation should therefore be promoted through the sharing of development experiences among developing countries at different stages of development in cooperation with developed countries.

Implementation

In May 1994, the Nagerkote Declaration was passed by 40 NGOs in Nagerkote, Nepal. It promotes cooperation between South NGOs within a South perspective for the sustainable development of their peoples and nations.
