  • Developing women's ecological perspectives
  • Promoting ecological feminism
  • Encouraging women's participation in sustainable development
  • Advocating eco-feminism

Description

In most of the developing world women and children are the principal victims of poverty and environmental degradation yet women's views on development and sustainable development issues are rarely sought. Ecofeminists present an alternative set of values upon which to base sustainable development, including the diversity of solutions, sustainability, mutualism, justice, autonomy and peace.
