Increasing participation of women in the public services

The role of women in public services is generally limited, both in terms of numbers and in terms of representation at managerial levels.

In close cooperation with the governments concerned, the Department of Technical Cooperation for Development of the United Nations develops alternate policies and strategies for increased and responsible participation of women in public services.
