Improving policy coherence for foreign aid

There is a need for improved policy coherence in developed countries both domestically and internationally, in particular between sectoral, tax and fiscal policies on the one hand and the objectives of their own development policies on the other; and between their own policy conduct and the policy advice extended to developing countries in the context of technical assistance.
