Embodying global vision

True globalization begins with an understanding of unity. Globalization in this sense means strength, sustainable development and peace. It means challenging the dominant paradigms. It requires leaving our own mental and psychological surroundings to enter a new space of opportunities. It is accepting the changes in our lives that globalization brings. It is taking the opportunity to look beyond our small cities and everyday problems and to open the door to a much wider horizon. It is understanding the part that we each play, in the global family -- the family of humanity.
