Developing improved cooking stoves
- Developing smokeless domestic stoves
Implementation
Efficient wood stoves that can reduce charcoal us by up to 50% are now being used increasingly throughout Asia and Africa. The improvements in efficiency result from controlling the aire flow to the fuel, insulating the sides of the stove to minimize waste heat and using small pieces of dry wood or charcoal.
