Conserving cultural heritage

Globalization is increasing contact between peoples of diverse cultures. With it, the digital revolution promises to transform the arts and the humanities which face shrinking public resources. A major program goal for the Rockefeller Foundation, for example, is to preserve and renew the cultural heritage of people who have been excluded from the benefits of a globalizing world.
