Building occupational thrust

Description

Increasing the individual's understanding of his own participation in the global economy, thus making more personnel available for global assignment, based on need. The effect is a change in basic images that provide vocational decision, thus breaking open new possibilities.

Context

An integral part of integrating labour capabilities through a global network of employable exchanges.

Implementation

Tactics include: vocational symbols to rehearse the gift of given occupation; global view to give an individual structures through which he receives and encounters the globe; practical care to allow the individual to experience concrete cares of the globe in the areas of his occupation; nature practices to allow the daily rehearsing of relationships to the globe; and guild development intended to provide corporate formulation of occupational thrust. An example of this is the view which would enable doctors to be recruited to go to Nepal for a two-year assignment.
