Acknowledging spiritual eldering

  • Nurturing the spiritual development of the aged

Claim

The elderly are increasingly tapping that inner, subjective part of their being which is unaffected by the aging process of the physical body. This inner growth, called "sage-ing" by some and referred to by poet W B Yeats as "withering into truth", is the pioneering work of spiritual eldering by means of which the elderly of our present time can serve the world.
