Abstaining from national identity

Are we in Eastern Europe part of the North ? I don't think so. We would certainly enjoy the lifestyle of the North, but I think we are too late for that. Are we part of the South ? I hope not. We are confused. Our society has collapsed, and we no longer have a coherent national identity or a clear sense of the future.
