The natural and technical sciences expand in an unintentional and narrow framework unconnected to the larger needs of society. The development of technology is beyond ethical constrains except the most pragmatic. Increasingly the direction of science is disrelated from the aspirations or opinions of the masses of people. Most scientists are untrained and unwilling to communicate with the general public.
