Unmotivated teachers

Teachers who hold the same position for years on end run the risk of becoming bored and of stagnating emotionally and intellectually. If this happens, they lose their zest and their ability to respond to new demands, and inevitably lower their expectations of their jobs and also of their pupils' performances.
