Unethical interpretation of regression therapy

  • Abusive application of back to babyhood therapy

Nature

The premise of regression therapy is that clients have to be taken back to their childhood in order to solve the personal problems that they have as adults. The treatment can require clients to wear nappies, be bottle-fed, and in other ways be treated as children. The therapy, if misinterpreted, can lead to physical, sexual and verbal abuse of the client.
