Torture by crushing

Hands, legs and arms are crushed as a form of torture is several countries. Heavy rollers, sometimes on specially designed equipment, are applied to victims legs. Bullets, pencils and other instruments are placed between fingers which are then crushed together. Genitals are squeezed.

Crushing has been reported in the following countries: (Africa) Ethiopia, Zaire, Zimbabwe; (Asia) India, Pakistan, Philippines; (Europe) Italy.
