Threatened species of Sacalia pseudocellata

This species was first described in 1992 from specimens found in a food market. There have been no sightings of Sacalia psuedocellata since 1990. There are, perhaps, too few of this species in captivity to expect captive reproduction to be an option in saving these from extinction.
