Background
A small frog (toadlet) that has striking irregular yellow-green to lime green and black stripes along its back. The yellow stripes are less than half the width of the adjacent dark stripes. The belly is covered in black, yellow and white blotches. Found in sub-alpine and montane areas of Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia. Alpine, sub-alpine and montane forest habitats. Breeds in pools or bogs surrounded by short wet heath or wet tussock grassland.
Incidence
Listed as "Critically Endangered" by the IUCN Red List.
