Ovis orientalis bocharensis is found in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Incidence
The General Director of the State Tadjik Forestry Association is reported to have offered a hunt targeting the nationally threatened subspecies of Ovis o. bocharensis, a species listed as a CITES Appendix I category. The IUCN lists the east mouflon as "Endangered".
