Background

The Corsac fox is found in Southeast Soviet Union, Soviet and Chinese Turkestan, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Transbaikalia, and northern Manchuria. It prefers the steppes and semi-desert, avoiding areas used for agricultural purposes.
