Stress incontinence
Nature
Stress incontinence is when involuntary leakage of urine occurs when the bladder is stressed -- say, if a sufferer laughs, coughs, or plays sport. Sometimes a trickle of urine escapes, sometimes the bladder gushes.
Incidence
Obese women are more vulnerable, as are smokers with chronic heavy coughs.
