Ideological revolution

Nature

Radical change in ideological thinking, including cultural revolution, may be a direct result of political revolution or technological and economic revolution. It may give rise to the enforcement of a new social order if it is adopted by government, and may cause social conflict, repression and a lack of integration in society. Experimental religions may be banned or lead to decadence. Minority political ideologies may increase their strength and hold over society with the use of subversive activities.
