Hypersensitivity

  • Hypersensitives

Nature

Certain groups within the population become adversely affected by toxic substances or work stresses while others apparently exposed to the same substances and/or performing the same tasks remain unaffected. Hypersensitivity may stem from developmental/ageing effects; nutritional status; genetic factors; pre-existing diseases; and personal/life-style habits.

Background

Pollutants destroy a number of nutrients vital to our physical and nervous function, the immune system weakens progressively until the tolerance breaks down. The victim can end up hypersensitive to food, drink, fabrics, pollen and dust, petrol and tobacco fumes, industrial emission and natural gas, etc.
