Disintegration of accepted myths

  • Demythologizing

Claim

Myths are allegorical descriptions of reality which, in their full sense, describe the beginning of existence, its end and the significance of day to day living. All contemporary myths including the one which supports the modern scientific world view are under attack and to some degree becoming disfunctional, in that they fail to enable individuals and societies to function meaningfully and creatively in the post-modern world.
