Nature

Asherman's syndrome is a condition where the uterine walls adhere to one another, usually caused by uterine inflammation. In most cases, Asherman's is caused by uterine surgery or a dilatation and curettage (D&C) of the uterus. Synptoms are no menstrual flow (amenorrhea) or decreased menstrual flow and infertility in the form of recurrent miscarriages.
