Way of the Buddhas (Buddhism, Tibetan)
Description
Each buddha passes through the four stages of trance in the Form-realm. Then he rises through the four equalizations in the Realms of Formlessness. He achieves the balance and repose of cessation at the Peak of Existence. He then passes in reverse back through the eight stages. He moves upward and downwards in and out of nirvana and sangsara doing the work of buddhas or acting in their rest from work.
