Universal religion (Yoga)
- Universal spirituality
Description
All the great religions have been said (Swami Omkarananda) to have the same essentials – love, truth, goodness, faith, devotion, knowledge. This writer and others indicate that when a sincere man, whatever his creed, reaches the goal of his spiritual path he achieves a personal realization of truth which takes him beyond his particular religion to an expanded consciousness of direct insight into reality. This true wisdom is the goal of yoga, which may be practised by any sincere individual whatever his beliefs or non-beliefs and may ultimately lead to cosmic integration.
