Spirituality in tantric yoga
Description
Spirituality is the awakening of divinity in consciousness, when consciousness is freed from the trap of mind and body. Freedom arises as the sense consciousness (mind) is gradually transformed. Initially sense consciousness perceives the world and produces uncontrolled thoughts. It desires, it senses pleasure and pain, it thinks, wills and seeks pleasure, in the latter aspect sometimes committing excesses. Transforming sense consciousness brings freedom from the slavery of mind, lust, greed, uncontrolled thoughts and internal dialogue. The other aspect of being can be experienced, when mind is detached from the sensory world, no longer thinking, desiring or willing. "I"-ness moves away from the cycle of birth and death and merges into supreme consciousness.
