Description
According to Aristotle, spiritual wellbeing is the goal of human existence and he posited a society organized to allow the individual to pursue this goal with the minimum distraction. The soul is constrained to act in conformity with virtue or excellence, the highest virtue being activity in the realm of theoretical knowledge or contemplation.
