Slain in the Spirit (Christianity)

Although remaining perfectly conscious and aware, the person is so overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit that he falls to the floor. There are instances reported of this happening to groups of people or several people within a group. It is not an hysterical reaction, the people it occurs to not being necessarily of an emotional or easily suggestible nature.
