Sex education

Description

Sex education starts at a very early age, when the child of 2 or 3 years old starts to ask questions such as "where did I come from ?" and to notice the physical differences between boys and girls; it continues with the aim of encouraging the harmonious development of young people and the understanding of responsible childbearing. The changes in social morality and outlook brought about with the decline in religion in the 20th century have contributed to marked increases in abortion, unwanted pregnancies, single parent families and sexually transmitted diseases; sex education is aimed at protecting young people from this trend and increasing understanding and a responsible attitude.
