Representational existence (ICA)

This is the realization that history is riding on your back and that you live on behalf of all; you are aware that it is your life that is going on here and not some imitation. An example is what Jean-Paul Sartre wrote on the subject of knowing the world by daring to act and to change it.

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of articulating the word about life (the life of knowing) the first formal aspect is one's experience of being a solitary individual or of being a self. At the third phenomenological level, this occurs when someone perceives in any experience its timeless authenticity.
