Religious therapy
Description
Lack of religious motivation and repression of the religious instinct are said to be the cause of much mental and physical ill health. Religious therapy (including counselling, conversion and a return to prayer and worship) leads to a change in direction - [metanoia]
or [re-pentence]
- and personal reconciliation with the transcendent. This brings about wholeness and healing.
